Every workbook is recalculated in LibreOffice and by a second, independent formula engine on the sample data; the totals are compared with numbers worked out outside any spreadsheet, and every formula cell is scanned for errors. We don't run Excel itself on the build machine, so this says built for, not tested in — open the live preview to see the numbers the formulas produce.

Twelve line items, qty × price, a discount, tax on the discounted amount, a total, and a due date that is the invoice date plus the client’s terms. Discount and tax are rounded to cents so the total is a number a bank will accept. The print area is set so it comes out on one page.
Choose the client from a dropdown and the address, email and payment terms fill in from the Clients sheet. Choose an item and its default price fills in — type over it for a one-off. The Register keeps every invoice: what’s paid, what’s outstanding, how many days overdue, a status that says Overdue before it says Part paid, aging buckets, what you’ve invoiced and collected this year, and the next number in your sequence.
The build recalculates the workbook in LibreOffice and in a second, independent engine on the sample invoice and register and compares fifteen values — subtotal, discount, tax, total, the client lookup, the register’s outstanding total, an aging bucket, two statuses, the next number — against numbers computed outside Excel.
