An HTML website builder that gives you the code
Most website builders keep your page inside their platform: you can edit it there, and only there. This one ends with a download. You pick the sections and write the copy in the browser; what comes out is a folder with index.html and one CSS file, ready for any host.
What the export contains
A folder named after your brand with index.html, assets/css/style.css, a README and a licence. The HTML is the same hand-written Tailwind markup as our website templates: every section starts with a comment, colours are CSS variables in the head, the FAQ is a native <details> element, and the pricing toggle is twenty lines of plain script. Under 40 KB before you add images.
Because it is static HTML there is nothing to install and nothing to keep running. Drop the folder on Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages or a shared host with FTP and the page is live. Open it from your desktop and it works too.
Editing after the export
The point of exporting the code is that you are not done when the builder is. Open index.html in any editor and change the words, add a section by copying one, swap a Tailwind class to move something. You do not need a build step for that — the compiled stylesheet already contains the classes the sections use.
If you want to go further and change classes freely, the Pro export adds src/input.css with your palette and a package.json, so npm run build recompiles the stylesheet for whatever you add.
Why not a hosted builder
Hosted builders are fine while you pay. Stop paying and the page goes dark, or keeps a badge, or the export is a screenshot of what you had. With a code export the page is a file on your disk. It is version-controllable, portable and yours in the plain sense — no export button needed later because you already have the export.
Open the landing page builder — free export, no account. Pro removes the credit line for a one-off $9.
Questions
Is the HTML export really free?
Yes. The free export keeps a one-line "Built with Foldout" credit in the footer; the $9 Pro export removes it and adds the Tailwind source. Both are full exports of the same page.
Does the exported page depend on your servers?
No. The stylesheet is in the folder, fonts are system fonts, and there are no external scripts. The page works offline from a folder.
Can I use it for a client?
Yes, unlimited projects, yours or clients'. The only limit is reselling the page as a template.
What about images?
Section images are placeholders you swap by editing the <img> tags; the builder does not upload files, because nothing is uploaded at all.
