Larkfield is the primary school on Lark Lane, behind the park. This site is for parents and carers first: the things you need are in the four boxes below, and a person answers the phone from eight.
About the school
Reading first. Every child reads with an adult every day until they can read to themselves, and then they read to a younger one. It sounds simple; it takes the whole timetable to protect.
The rest follows: maths taught for understanding rather than tricks, a science lab that's actually used, music from Year 1, and a school day with enough breaks in it.
We were last inspected in March 2025. The report is short and worth reading in full.

Lark Lane is one-way from 8:15 to 9:00. Map inside. Please don't park on the zigzags; the crossing patrol will tell us.
Six books over the holidays, a sticker per book, and a certificate from the library in September.
Tours run on Tuesday mornings during term, with the head. Children in lessons, not a display.
